Hollywood Hills hideaway with breathtaking views coming soon for $1.3M

There are moments in our lives when we realize just how lucky we are. This moment was his.

Standing on the balcony, looking at the panoramic hillside views that surround his Hollywood Hills home, Clay thought, “Holy shit, I live here. I own this.” From the very beginning, he explains, “I always wanted to live in the hills, and I felt very at peace in this location.”

The two-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath dwelling measuring 1,478 square feet stands on a street tucked away on a hillside up from Franklin Avenue. Curbside, the home is hidden behind a fence covered in wisteria currently in bloom.

After purchasing the home, he met his soon-to-be wife, Kristy. She loved the views and the beauty and spirit of the neighborhood too. “It’s close to everything, but as soon as you turn onto the street, you feel further away than you actually are.”

While both agree the views and the location are phenomenal, the house needed a little work.

“At the time, we did a lot of entertaining and had people visit and stay over.” The kitchen was closed off to the rest of the public spaces, and there was a Jack and Jill bathroom downstairs, which didn’t make sense when you had overnight guests.

They opened up the kitchen to the living with a smooth plaster-finished fireplace and dining area to create a better, more open floor plan. This brought in a ton of natural light and the surrounding green scenery, making it feel like you’re living amongst the trees.

The bedroom is in Hollywood Hills, and the front has an outside view.

“While I was pregnant, I remember opening up the house and hearing the wind and the leaves in the trees. It’s a very peaceful home.”

Downstairs they made each room en-suite and added subtle luxuries like the large picture window in the primary bathroom so you can enjoy the views while soaking in the tub.

Kristy says, “the floor plan now makes the home function the way it always should have.”

There’s a separate bonus studio on the lower level that can double as an Airbnb rental or guest bedroom. The residence located at 2620 Bronholly Dr is listed by HOUS, asking $1.295 million.
