The accolades Eagle Rock receives for being a neighborhood that delivers just the right amount of hustle and bustle alongside slow living are all true.

Modern Homes & Real Estate
By the 1880s this neighborhood was ripe for suburbanization.
The tree lined streets are populated with craftsman style architecture and CA bungalows while killer mid-century modern homes are often hidden gems of the neighborhood.
The neighborhood continues to blossom and is deemed a destination spot for young professionals, stroller pushers, and hipsters seeking a place to eat, sleep and play.

Rock Row
Staying true to their mission “to improve the quality of building in working class neighborhoods throughout LA” brothers Kevin and Hardy Wronske of Heyday erected Rock Row.
The project is a collection of 15 LEED certified modern homes built utilizing the small lot subdivision ordinance.
Fitted with decks, balconies, and usable outdoor space these homes were originally priced from $482,000 to $595,000. They completely sold out in just 4 weeks.
Everlee
The Wronske brothers do it again.
The potential of a site housing a boarded up office building only being used for parking was glaringly obvious. So they went for it and broke ground in the summer of 2015.
The entire project was so well received, all 7 homes were in escrow in less than a month.

Eagle Rock is considered to be highly diverse for Los Angeles County. 40.3% of the population is Latino followed by 29.8% white. Asians follow at 23.9%. A group of “other” make up 4.1%. Black/African American make up a small percentage of the population at 1.9%.

Local Grub & Things To Do
From boutiques to watering holes and all the places where the scene is about being seen, here are some local faves.
Cafe Beaujolais | 1712 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041 |(323) 255-5111
Their motto is “Everything French, but the Attitude” and they live up to it. Traditional French fare ranges from a rack of lamb, shrimp and scallops, to potatoes au gratin (bien sûr.) Just remember, even though the waiters are dreamy, you cannot pair one with your meal.
Casa Bianca | 1650 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041 |(323) 256-9617
It’s a neighborhood institution. The Martorana couple arrived in Eagle Rock in the 1950’s. And since then there’s a line almost every night waiting to bite into their Chicago thin crust pizza.
Little Beast | 1496 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041 |(323) 341-5899
An impromtu date and a craving for a glass of rosé on a hot summer night landed me here. I was delightfully impressed. Without a doubt the husband and wife team Deborah Schwartz-Lowenthal and Chef Sean Lowenthal succeeded in making the Little Beast a great foodie spot.
Eagle Rock Music Festival
Silver Lake had the Sunset Junction festival. Echo Park has Echo Park Rising. So of course Eagle Rock has to join the ranks in pleasing its residents with an annual music festival. Thousands congregate on Colorado Blvd to watch and listen to the musical talents of artists like Aloe Blacc.
