Built five years ago, the two-story modern dwelling proves sometimes size doesn’t matter.

Architect Adam Bressler utilized a small dirt lot on one of LA’s iconic stair streets, located at 1298 Sunset Blvd in Echo Park, to build a two-story modern home.

Bressler designed a thoughtful space filled with natural light. Measuring 1,008 square feet the space opens to the main floor housing the public spaces featuring an open floor plan with 10’ ceilings, wood flooring, an artful staircase, and glass sliders making outdoor access seamless, opening to the wraparound patio.
The open kitchen features white cabinetry, oversized windows, and stainless appliances.

Two bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs where high ceilings continue and treetop views are seen through large windows. Both bedrooms have sizable closet spaces and the bathroom offers a large double-sink.

Sited above Sunset Blvd, you’re near popular neighborhood spots, including Ostrich Farm, Guisados, and Lowboy. You can also enjoy pedaling a boat or strolling around Echo Park Lake, grabbing fresh produce at Friday’s Farmers Market or jetting Downtown.
